This was a big day as we were going to visit Florence... but on our way there was Certaldo village so we stopped and took the funiccular to the upper city... it was small but beautiful...

Then I don't really know how but in some way we managed to find our way in the hectic traffic of Florence and we even found a parking place, so we started our excursion... Florence was very you need reservations in advance for many museums and galleries or else you will have to wait for half a day on the queues on the street... did quite a big tour of Florence and we entered at the most important places.. you definitely need at least two or better three days to explore Florence to a certain extent...

After Florence we drove not from the main road but mainly through the villages towards Siena but we didnt enter to the city and instead we went to the nearby wonderful village called Montalcino to spend the night... that was a beautiful places to stay and hour hotel was a very nice one (Hotel Dei Capitani)... we found another wine bar and had fun this evening too...
