Next morning we climbed up to the old city of San marino and walked through the roads, old buildings and churches... there was fog and the weather was very cold...

After San Marino we had planned to visit the wonderful Byzantine style St Apollinaire church but when we arrived there the church was closed for renovation... we just took photos from the outside and red the details of the interior later in books...

Ravenna was our next stop... this beautiful city needs a whole day to be explored... but we managed to visit quite a lot of churches and museums...

After ravenna we headed to Venice so we reached Mester town and found ourselves a fair hotel (Hotel Piave) close to the railway station were we would be taking the train for Venice next morning...
