Day 2 (10 April)
Next day we started from the big monument which we couldn't reach the day before becaus of the crowd... this time it was quite empty... it is called Abide whcih actually means monument... it overlooks the straits at the eastern part of the peninsula... the ANZAC cove is on the westerna part at the Eagean sea... here are some photos from Abide :

After Abide we headed towards the nearby great French cemetery where there are 3000 graves for the known deads, and some group graves for those who are not known... for those who can read French there is a nice explanation about the events of the war in the third photo...
