We came to Antalya one day before the total solar eclipse of March 29. Antalya was the best and first place where the eclipse would be seen in totality in Asia and it was also the closest point to Europe. So, I thought that all around in Antalya there would be events and celebrations; and there would be much difficulty in finding a place to stay. However, we found that Antalya was relatively calm and not crowded. Although it was off season, generally foreign tourists were there to witness this important event, whereas Turkish people were rather indifferent to it. It is a shame that Turkish authorities gave so little importance to this "festivity."
The first day we spent our day in Kaleiçi, Antalya and around our hotel which is located in Lara beach.
Trying to do some (not very successful!) shooting tests for the next day.
